Ecumen Lifestyle Covenant

From the many of conversations occurring in our dining room to exercise classes to our popular Oktoberfest celebration, people are the power who make the Ecumen Lakeview Commons community special. The Ecumen Lifestyle Covenant is integral to tapping the individuality of our residents and building and strengthening community at Ecumen Lakeview Commons. It is an agreement that we and our customers shape together to ensure that we’re both working collaboratively to empower individual customers in living the lifestyle that person desires.  It is through empowerment that we honor the people we serve.  The Lifestyle Covenant begins with a series of questions that our customer and Ecumen team member discuss and explore together.  The discussion guide helps us both hone in on what is most important to this person and how we can support his or her lifestyle.

Spiritual Care Services

Ecumen Lakeview Commons offers many different spiritual care programs under the direction of our Chaplain. Our goal is to honor each resident in their spiritual journey, and support their needs through programs, special services, Pastoral Care visits, or intercessory prayer. Our programs include weekly worship services, Catholic Mass/Communion, bible studies, devotions or prayer time, bible games/trivia, Community Service projects, and end of life care. Worship services are also offered on both religious and national holidays. See our Chaplain's Chat for more details!!

High Touch, High Tech

At Ecumen we are committed to using innovative technology to enhance the lives and independence of our residents.  The Dakim brain fitness technology, featured above, uses a touch screen and series of trivia questions and puzzles to stimulate thought and problem solving.  Ecumen Lakeview Commons has served as an early adopter of new technology.  In fact, Honor Hacker, who is pictured above, testified at a U.S. Congressional hearing on the use of technology in empowering America's seniors.  We're on Facebook, also!
